Dr. Bhishma Sedai has been awarded an honorable mention for his paper “Thermal and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis of Treated Diatomaceous Earth and Epoxy Composites” in the 2016 Thermoset Resin Formulators Association (TRFA) Excellence in Thermoset Polymer Research Award. Bhishma plans to present this work at the 2016 TRFA Conference March 5-7, 2017 at the Hilton North Raleigh Midtown in Raleigh North Carolina. (Feb 2107)

Dr. Ugo Arua was a participant in the 13th Excellence in Graduate Polymer Research Symposium at the ACS Meeting in San Francisco, CA – April 3-4, 2017.  Ugo is in the center with in yellow.  Her paper was entitled: Segmental Dynamics of poly(styrene-stat-methyl methactylated-d₃) in Bulk and at Very Small Amounts on Silica, Madhu Arachchilage, Frank Blum were coauthors.
